Welcome to
Shakti Breathe
Welcome to your journey toward greater relaxation, clarity, and well-being.
Whether you’re looking to reduce stress, improve sleep, or simply reconnect with yourself, Shakti Breathe offers a gentle yet powerful, accessible practice for almost everyone.
"Breath is the master key, unlocking the ancient vaults of the unconscious,
where forgotten feelings and blocked traumas yearn to be set free,
releasing negative patterns and opening the path to healing."
Shakti Breathe is not solely about breathwork; it is a sanctuary for the soul, a sacred space where physical, mental, and emotional healing converge. It is a one-stop home for transformation, where a community of like-minded hearts gathers to share, grow, and awaken to their fullest potential—together breathing life into connection, healing, and profound inner peace.
Breathwork Meets Physical Stimulation
Although this transformative practice can stand alone, by combining the power of mindful breathwork with the physical stimulation of the acupressure mat,
Shakti Breathe creates a holistic self-care ritual that aligns your body and mind, leaving you grounded and revitalised. But it doesn’t stop there, as you’ll soon discover.
How Shakti Breathe Can Help:
Healing and Reward.
1. Enhanced Relaxation
The breathing exercises take you on a journey outside of your head and beyond the limits of your everyday consciousness, allowing you to experience a truly transformative journey to the depths of your unconscious mind, enabling you to take control of your nervous system, engage and exercise your stress receptors, and activate the parasympathetic state (your “rest and digest” mode), helping to reduce anxiety and promote calmness.
Shakti Breathe breathwork is a powerful tool that helps you navigate and overcome the initial discomfort of using the Shakti mat. By focusing on your breath, you can build resilience, ease into the sensation, and unlock the full benefits of the mat.
2. Stress Relief
Controlled breathing helps regulate cortisol (stress hormone) levels. Shakti Breathe combines controlled hyperventilation with manageable, intermittent breath holding, and slow, diaphragmatic breathing through the nose, while listening to evocative music, which counteracts the effects of stress and helps you feel more balanced.
3. Improved Focus and Mindfulness
Shakti Breathe emphasizes being present in the moment, helping you tune into your body and breath. This practice can improve concentration and increase overall mindfulness in daily life.
4. Pain Management and Recovery
Breath control can reduce the perception of pain by shifting your focus and releasing endorphins. Combined with the acupressure mat’s ability to improve circulation and relax muscles, it’s excellent for post-workout recovery or managing tension, morning, noon or/ and night.
5. Better Sleep
Practicing Shakti Breathe before bedtime, especially while lying on the Shakti Mat, can help calm your mind, release physical tension, and prepare you for a deeper, more restorative sleep.
How to Get Started:
- Lie on your Shakti Mat in a comfortable position (back or stomach, but I prefer back).
- Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose for a count of 4.
- Hold your breath gently for a count of 4.
- Exhale slowly through your mouth for a count of 6-8, feeling your body sink into the mat.
- Repeat for 5-10 minutes, gradually extending your exhalations for deeper relaxation.
Do this while listening to some relaxing music and if you feel your mind wandering, that’s ok. Just bring your attention gently back to the breath and continue.
This simple yet powerful technique can transform your self-care routine by integrating mind-body practices with the physical benefits of the Shakti Mat. If you’re looking to relieve stress, improve focus, or boost recovery, Shakti Breathe could be a perfect fit for you.
