A Simple Guide to
Your First Session

If you’re new to breathwork, you’re in the right place. At Shakti Breathe, we believe that your breath is a tool you can use anytime, anywhere to feel more calm, focused, and connected. And the best part? You don’t need any prior experience—just a willingness to start.

Here’s a simple step-by-step guide to help you begin your breathwork journey:

1. Create Your Space

Find a quiet, comfortable place where you can sit or lie down. Turn off distractions and let this time be just for you.

2. Notice Your Breath
Close your eyes and take a moment to observe your natural breathing. Don’t try to change it— just notice. Is it fast or slow? Deep or shallow?

3. Try This Simple Exercise: The Shakti Reset

  • Inhale deeply through your nose for 4 counts.
  • Hold your breath gently for 4 counts.
  • Exhale fully through your nose for 6 counts.
  • Pause for 2 counts before starting again.

Repeat this for 2-3 minutes and notice how you feel. A small shift can make a big difference.

4. Reflect and Return

After your practice, take a moment to reflect. How does your body feel? Is your mind quieter? The beauty of breathwork is that it grows with you—each session builds on the last.
